Love Me, Love My Cats

Since I don't have children, I am practicing on my two fur babies- Brutus and Gus. It's not really too much practice since we leave them to fend for themselves every time we travel, and I'm pretty sure that's not a good idea with human babies.

I really wanted a dog when we were living in NYC, but E said no we didn't have time to take care of a dog. So, I said I wanted two cats instead. I had never owned cats, but it worked out.

My aunt once said Brutus was so photogenic he could be a show cat, so our friends think we are strange cat people. So I was a crazy cat lady one year for Halloween.
If I have had a glass or two of wine, I love to go all Elmyra from Tiny Toons on the cats and grab them and squeeze them and kiss them. They don't like it.

Poor Gus is pretty chubby, but there's just more of him to love.

They both are missing most of their teeth.

 

But they're mine and I <3 them. You will too, I promise!
