I Am Nesting

This post should be called "I am Crazy", because I am not that far along (like not even showing) and have already ordered baby stuff online and off my registry! Oh yea, I alrady have a registery, most of which was shameless copied form others registries :)
Some friends have also already given me stuff. They're like, haha, new moms will take anything!  I'm like, yea buddy, give it all to me! I guess eventually you do get a lot of stuff with a baby then toddler.

So I Ethan is definitely going to repaint once we know for sure the gender. I also want little lambs in here. I am waiting for my overpriced Pottery Barn stuffed lamb to arrive.
(We called my mom a little lamb when she went through chemo and lost her hair. It came in all white and curly! Not a happy time, but I think of my mom when I see lambs, plus they're cute. Side story, E calls me and my mom lamb chop and pork chop.)

More pics to come as we I decorate.  Feel free to point me to your favorite Etsy shops :)

Welcome to Audubon

I have a serious embarrassing secret- most of the pics on my phone are of my cats and other random animals in my backyard. A lovely snow day yesterday provided the backdrop for the iPhone-Audubon-eqsue photos (I only say that because I got to plant my buttocks firmly in the couch under many blankets and not go to work).

Look how fat my boy is. He got a big ol' booty.

The birds were outta control yesterday. There were no less than 5 or 6 at the feeder all day.

I feel so accomplished too.  I caught up on True Detective, watched Dallas Buyers Club, and finally started Scandal (where have I been- that show is great).  I also got in some really great online informative reading (mostly via Facebook, Gawker, and BuzzFeed).
Toodle-loo my friends.

Oscars & a Shameful Confession!

Work is closed again today due to weather. I received the email last night, so I actually stayed up and watched the Oscars (well, until 11p, then I got too tired, so I really missed the best parts).
Best Dressed (imo) was Charlize Theron!Well have to see what the Fashion Police on E! says tonight.

I also really liked Kerry Washington and Camilla Alvez's dresses.
I loved Jared Leto & Lupita Nyong'o's speeches, the selfie and pizza, and of course the fashions. Did you get that Jared Leto is 42?! Wow.
What I didn't like about last night were the haters on Twitter. I don't use Twitter (my generation uses Facebook), but I thought it would be fun to see what Ellen and Chrissy Tiegen were up to. My Twitter was blown up with random blogs I've followed to enter into a giveaway, and ya know what, some of them were just nasty (I can't find any good examples, but someone insulted Jared Leto's speech saying play the music! No one puts Jordan Catalano in a corner!) Anyway, I took some time to clean up my following  list- ain't nobody got time for negativity.

Now my shameful confession. I love movies, but maybe I shouldn't claim that anymore. Saturday I decided to watch Heat on HBO on Demand. It took me an hour into the movie to realize that Al Pachino and Robert DeNiro were 2 separate people/ characters. I had to ask Ethan to help with the plot and he was horrified (yet again). That movie is from '95, and he still remembered the plot and actors! Sigh.

Well I'm off to rack up some On Demand bills (I wonder how many Oscar films I can watch today?).  Stay safe and warm!
